- Show shipping + returns in schema. AI answer engines increasingly pull ShippingDetails and MerchantReturnPolicy. Populate them so buyers see accurate answers without leaving the AI surface.
Watch out for
Gotchas
- Theme apps that inject their own Product schema alongside Shopify’s create duplicates — pick one emitter.
- AggregateRating in JSON-LD without visible reviews on the page violates Google guidelines and can trigger manual actions.
- Draft products still linked from the navigation stay indexable — hide them from crawl until they are ready.
